Position Overview
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Birmingham, AL for the 20252026 school year. This role offers opportunities to work with elementary and primary students, supporting the development of communication skills through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with school teams.
Responsibilities

Provide speech-language therapy to students in elementary and primary grade levels

Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations

Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with general and special education staff to support communication goals

Maintain appropriate documentation and progress monitoring data

Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications

Active Alabama SLP License (required)

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs will be considered with supervision

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred)

Strong communication and collaboration skills
